Throwing out perishables, particularly veggies, gnaws at my frugal core. It’s just so wasteful to buy fresh veggies and then let them go bad in the crisper bin, but salad takes a lot of time to make.

But I’ve found my solution and I’m loving it. Don’t make salad - make cole slaw. Today’s has cabbage, carrots, cucumber, cilantro, red peppers, onions, lemon, salt, pepper, Mayo, and hot chili oil. It will keep for days and I can grab a bowl as a snack anytime.

Just thought I’d share.
