I live in the US.
I need to replace my bed and am considering a cheap japanese futon on amazon (about 80 inches by 30 inches).
My understanding is that there should be something underneath it that the futon goes on. I see people using tatimi mats or wooden pallet like things.
I dont have the budget for that, so im wondering if there is some kind of cheap frame I can use for like $20? Is that possible?
Nothing fancy, just something for the futon to lay on so it can breathe. My carpets not in the best shape, so i dont really want to have it laying directly on that.
