Can I open more than 1 account with the same broker?
I’m using TD and I love their TOS platform. I want to seperate my day and swing trades from long term investment (more than 1yr)
What is the tax implications for open 2 accounts with the same broker? Both are taxable margin account.
I know it would be easier to open with another broker but I think using the same broker you already use makes it faster and more convenient
I have realized gains and unrealized loss. I’m selling covered calls and will buy back the shares but don’t want to be under wash sale rule for using the same margin account
