Hi Reddit,
It's funny how families keep things from one another in terms of finance. Yesterday my mom told me that I will inherit several million dollars from my grandparents. I have always seen myself as a middle class kid so I'm still struggling to process that. Growing up I knew that my grandparents were wealthy but I had no idea how much they have. I'm a grad student and part of my motivation for going to graduate school was to be able to buy myself an apartment/help my parents out. I love the field that I'm going into but I feel like someone just gave me that cheat code in the sims where too much money ruins the whole game. Do you guys have any advice for dealing with these feelings?/keeping motivated?
