A coin with a $500m valuation can easily fork out tens of millions to pay influencers for a single post.
In my opinion, this isn't just scummy but should be illegal. This isn't tolerated in the stock market. I think the clear progression for the cryptocurrency market is to implement laws to protect people from these pump/dump schemes. (the "not financial advice" doesn't cut it, especially right after you give financial advice).
