The conventional wisdom and evidence w/ timing the stock market is that it's better to invest ASAP -- more has been lost waiting for dips than lost in dips. I'm looking to invest in some real estate and it definitely feels like we're in a bubble. But is the conventional wisdom about the same? Is it generally better to just invest now vs. waiting for a dip? The indices seem to suggest this is actually true, too(https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/CASTHPI) but curious whether anyone with more in depth knowledge has any info.
