I stopped buying t-shirts at box stores a couple years ago and have had much better luck with t-shirts from Michael’s, comparatively. They’re higher quality, last longer, and are more comfortable. Variety of colors, standard or v-neck, but mostly in men’s sizes (only drawback). Basic sweatshirts are also available for a similar better quality vs price.
