Amazon says I returned the wrong items? What can I do?

I bought 3 items, one item was the completely wrong item, two were to be returned through the UPS Store and the other to an Amazon Locker. I took all items to the UPS Store first since it's next door and they packed up both for me and shipped the two from them then actually walked me to the locker which was also nearby. All good.

Time passes, I get an email saying the items returned aren't the original items, which is impossible. I call customer service, they say they'll submit a ticket or whatever, I get an email back saying the same thing as the first one, the incorrect items were returned. I call CS back again and tell them the same stuff and about all the proof i have and they say they'll submit a ticket to the whatever team, wait for their email. I get an email back but it just says, again, "wrong item received, send correct item" and I am on the endless loop where Amazon does not give me any information on these "incorrect items" that were received, no pictures, no shipping information, no package dimensions, nothing.

Do I have any recourse? The itesm are about 2k total.
