I asked for a total of 0.25 cents more then what they were offering, increasing the pay raise to 15%.
I was told my request was understandable and that they would get back to me. It's been a few days since the paperwork was initially supposed to go in, and I was told that I would have a decision yesterday. I'm still waiting. I'm now wondering did I make the right call?
Am I pushing it by asking for more?
I am being told afterwards from people outside the company that a pay increase this high is unheard of with this company. I am now wondering if I got too greedy. Only time will tell but my anxiety has brought me here. I really just want some unbiased opinion and perspective here.
If this isn't the right place for this, could someone kindly guide me where I could share this? Thank you
