Hey everyone, so this is my first time buying a car from craigslist and I wanted to hear your thoughts before it’s a done deal. Basically the car is 2018 honda civic lx with 20000 miles and warranty. The car was really clean and good. When we visited the car, everything checked out. My dad is a mechanic so that checked out too. We asked for a carfax report just in case and they said we’d have to pay for it but they did go to the honda dealership to get records of the car being serviced. That seemed to check out. They initially had the price at 15900 but they lowered it to 15300 and that’s the lowest they are willing to go. We offered 14500 and the profusely declined. Should we buy it at 15300 or continue our search for a used and decent car on craigslist? Or do you all have any suggestions? Much thanks reddit.
