I found this company months ago and decided to pass on it. The company isn't exactly the strongest one (in their 10-K they mentioned as a risk factor that their executive leadership doesn't have a lot of training in this field so they may make some mistakes). They're being bought out at a heavy discount to their book value. Out of the past 10 years only 4 of those years had positive net income and FCF wasn't exactly stellar either. But I can't imagine acquisitions are always done sensibly. The hotel industry may be seeing consolidation now so they can compete better in the coming years after COVID and trying to make back lost revenue. Was anybody holding $RLH? The stock shot up almost 30% yesterday on the news.
