TurboTax is very mature with the highest brand name recognition, market share, and number of tax professionals overseeing the development of the software. However, their prices are quite high, and some people aren't aware of any alternatives.

I used them last year for my 2019 taxes, and everything went smoothly. Ended up paying $0. They do charge a small amount for state tax returns, but my state does not collect income tax, which is why I paid nothing.
Lastly, if you are concerned about the accuracy of alternatives, you can always cross-check with TurboTax by entering your information there. They don't charge until you actually submit the final return, so just stop short of doing that.
