So my dad kicked me out the house a few days ago. I found a place for me to live and call home already. Thing is the night I was kicked out he took my keys from me so the next morning a friend took me to my house and eventually after he called the cops they ruled in my favor saying the car is mines because I pay 100% of it. The point is he wants his name off the title. (Background: he co-signed for me to get the car so both our names are on it, and I remember the dealer saying they would need 1 signature for anything In The future) anyways he wants me to get his name off the title. I’m 19 and I’m still learning about many things of course. Any advice on what to do? I believe I can just go to the dealership where we got the car and tell them to take his name off or I heard something about refinancing it? Any of this true? Any help is welcome! Thank you I’m advance!
