Lately my 12 year old son has been playing stocks on his phone and asked if he can invest real money. He had $1000 in his savings because what 12 year old doesn’t have that?
I asked him what he wanted to buy and he loaded up on way OTM Apple calls a week out and he’s already up $100. Not a huge return but pretty good for a short amount of time
His uncle asked him if he wanted to sell and spend his profits but he said that he isn’t a pussy and is going to hold until expiration so that he can get some hookers and cocaine. It was really good to see that he knew so much about investing already
This is why we need to teach financial literacy early. I really wish schools would have classes on this. I’m so proud of him
