Hello everyone, I have recently purchased my first home and am starting my first project, installing laminate flooring on the first floor! My question is whether or not I can install it on top of the existing linoleum in the kitchen. Linoleum is original and just a single layer. The dining area and living room which are both connected to the kitchen just have bare concrete subfloor/foundation. Will I run into any trouble laying planks between the bare flooring and the linoleum? Finding contradictory advice online. I have 3mm underlayment and 12mm flooring.
