I made the mistake of trying to replace my bathroom sink's faucet. I disconnected the water lines and everything was going smoothly until I discovered that a previous owner had used two gigantic plastic fasteners to hold the faucet to the bottom of the sink. I haven't had any luck moving the damn things and I'm totally frustrated. I'm not even sure what these particular fasteners are called, so my GoogleFu isn't helping too much. I tried turning them to the left, no luck. I tried turning them to the right (thinking maybe they were reverse tightening), no luck. I tried warming them up with a hair dryer, no luck. Am I missing some super easy way to remove these things, or are they just stuck from years of buildup? And does anyone have an actual name for these types of fasteners?https://ift.tt/3oigDHL via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3dRdDgq
