Note: Uniqlo was implicated in a report was released not long ago detailing 83 brands associated with Uighur forced labor in China's Xinjiang region. Uniqlo's official response to that report is that they "do not have any business with the two factories linked to UNIQLO in the report" and that "no UNIQLO product is made in Xinjiang". But as many have pointed out the issue is not with the manufacturing of their products, but the sourcing of their materials which could be sourced from unethical forced labor. This could be because raw materials are often not fully traceable or it's just cheap. That part isn't exactly clear from what I've seen.
