What is the best way to transfer wealth from one generation to another? I've recently been blessed with my newborn son! I have been diligently saving and investing and can say I'm debt free currently. I'd say my financial picture for MYSELF is looking pretty darn good. But my question is what should I start thinking about in when it comes to setting my son up for success BESIDES teaching him appropriate financial lessons.
I've always wondered how the truly wealthy families transfer money from generation to generation because it isn't as simple as just opening a roth under your son's name and shoving money into it.....I've at least discovered that recently. So here I am, a financial moron hoping to educate himself so I can make sure that--after my own financial vision comes to fruition--my son has an amazing start and has the possibility of being extremely more well-to-do than I ever was and will be.
