My house needs painted pretty badly and I wanted to try and paint it myself. I got a $5000 quote to paint my 1700 sq ft house. That is more than I was anticipating and there is no way I can afford that. I looked at paint prices and think if I do two coats it would cost me about $350 in paint depending on the brand. I would also have to buy or rent a tall enough ladder and pressure washer, but still way cheaper than $5000.It is a pressure treated wood panel siding that I need to paint. Should I use rollers or rent a spray gun?
