Are there calculators online that I can work with to see if it's worth getting a prequal with a lender for a small home loan? I don't want to get a preapproval yet because I don't want any credit hits and my chances for a loan are on the slim side. So I wanted to see if there were some generic calculators created by a financial professional. I know it won't be accurate.
