So, I live in Las Vegas Nevada which is a pretty popular place for tourists to come and smoke legal marijuana. The dispensaries around the area I live in make millions of dollars a year, and are highly profitable overall.
This peaked my interest. I’ve been interested in marijuana as a cash crop for years, and I genuinely think it could be a highly profitable, smart business to get into. The problem is budgeting.
I will be going to college next year with a major in Business most likely. I want to get out of school and start working toward opening a dispensary, but truthfully I often doubt myself because I’m really not sure how realistic this sort of thing is. After licensing, building costs (including property), inventory, etc it can cost well over a million dollars to start a business like this. Which is why I believe it’s probably unrealistic for me.
Is there any way I could achieve this goal of mine? Could I somehow work towards getting the required money to make this huge investment? Or is it just unrealistic
