I’m looking to potentially shift careers. I currently make roughly 140k a year at my current position (health care). The only financial experience I have is trading stocks on my own. I’m interested in finance and want to make sure the shift would eventually be financially similar to my current salary. In my research I found I could take the series 65 exam without a sponsor. If I pass that, then what? Would companies allow me to be a part time “intern” while I learn the ropes and get sponsored to take something like the series 7?
Anyone with experience in this would be appreciated
