A couple years ago my boyfriend and I bought a new tv when our old one died. We bought the samsung UN40MU6300. It was working fine, but there started to be a burn mark, we kind of ignored it. (We like having hulu on in the background while we sleep for background noise) which is our fault, because hulu doesnt have a screen saver. Now our tv will randomly set the volume to the max, even if we set the volume to 0 it still maxed, the only way to stop it is hit mute or turn the tv off. Which sucks and honestly terrifying to wake up to in the middle of the night. We would like something new that will last a long time. Something that is make a tad bit bigger than what it is now, but not by much because of the room we need. So about the same or 2 inches more so maybe a a 43in.(If possible either something that has custom sleep timer or something that's not going to have burn images) budget under $1,000. I really liked the feature of the tv that allowed apps like smart TVs for hulu and netflix Thanks in advanced, we just want to get the right tv to avoid problems like this in the future, and have no idea where to even start
Tldr: need a new tv that is good, under $1000, something that wont burn an image in easily, smart tv for apps like hulu and netflix.
