I'm doing a huge indoor vegetable garden in my unfinished basement. The one problem is there isn't any sink in the basement. I've been having to carry 5 gal buckets of water downstairs every few days and that is getting really old really quickly. There are water pipes attached to the low ceiling, and a couple of days ago I noticed that two of them seem to have cold water faucets attached to them with the generic threads that would work with a hose. I'm wondering if I can attach a flexible 25 ft hose to one of these with a nozzle on the hose and use it for water in the basement. There is a floor drain, so I'm not too worried about accidental flooding. And if I can do this, which faucet should I use? One of the two has another faucet handle without a spout a few inches down the pipe. The other doesn't. I've attached a few pictures from different angles, so if any plumber or handy person could advise me, I'd appreciate it.https://preview.redd.it/po30pb3wcwb51.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8531bacf9a91679b1cbc87ab1bc17f860e90cb51https://preview.redd.it/6xp86gzxcwb51.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=441fab726151eda5d20132d84b8c847f7cb3c83bhttps://preview.redd.it/q0svathzcwb51.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cfe05d3c6fe0d626f89c7b47cad0c0b071f95c6 via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3eK3W2b
