I started my professional degree job 5 years ago with over $200,000 in debt and $10,000 in savings. I paid off all the debt and saved a fair bit on top of that. My job lets me put away a lot of money every month and I am highly doubtful that I could find another job that pays so highly. Am I being stupid for wanting to quit during a time when so many others are having trouble finding work?
I work all the time and never take vacations. It's a pressure cooker environment and many of the personalities can be unpleasant.
