Her mother gave her an ultimatum, saying that either she must drop out of her current college and stay at home and enroll in community college, or she would be totally cut off. She is still planning on attending her sophomore year at the same college, but now she will be receiving no support from her family to help pay for it. Since we are returning in a few weeks, I am curious if there is anything she can do to help lower the cost of tuition. We already made a quick checklist of potential expenses for her and also she transferred banks so nobody else can access it, and she is trying to figure out how insurance will work. Any advice is appreciated!
