I have a 4" cast iron main drain in my house that gets roots at the connection to the city line at 133' out, about 1x per year. I am wondering about options to take care of this myself every year instead of paying $375 to RotoRooter that might be DIY friendly. I have had it scoped and located, so know pretty well the location and distance to the clog, and think the drain is about 8' under the ground. Are there any feasible options here that make sense, or is this best left to the pros to hire an excavator or pay the rotorooter? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3ioyGsw
