I'm trying to move out, with pretty much 4,000+ to my name. I live in NY, so getting an apartment here would be expensive.

It's hard to find a job here (I am staying with my mom in the upstate area) and I can't even get my license because I work as a doorman (meaning I can be stuck doing doubles with no reliefs-- also, I work the morning shift so driving school is often closed when I'm done)

Personally, I feel I am in a toxic controlled environment-- and I am trying to get out of New York and get a one bedroom apartment in a different state. The South (Florida, Texas, Tennessee or Georgia) is ideal; as well as Ohio.

I just have no idea how to get a job lined up before I move out. I want to probably go back to college while working in a different state. What should I do?

Is 4,000 dollars enough to move out? Are there other routes? NY is too expensive
