Any chip designer here? if so, could you please explain for the layman what went wrong with Intel's FAB design and why AMD has now the upper hand? Can Intel ever recover with Jim Keller out? What does it for Intel to consider outsourcing the creation of their FABs? How can Intel now protect its IP?
