I figured out farmers markets around me in Ohio sell produce dirt cheap. Just last week i picked up a perfectly ripened watermelon for $3. At the Kroger near me it is $6 for a partially ripe watermelon. Literally 50% off and way better quality. This year i managed to plant my garden with live plants for a third of the price just buying at the market.
