I'm tempted to use D-C-Fix sticky back plastic on our kitchen worktops, to update the kitchen and tie us over until we can renovate fully. I don't expect it'll stand up all that well to scratches etc., so has anybody had experience of applying a clear lacquer or varnish over the top to protect it?
