Mostly a lurker who occasionally asks for advice sometime. I’m a young teacher and as you might’ve guessed it I don’t get paid that much. I met some very intelligent individuals on here who were able to help me make enough on the side where I don’t have to get a part-time job on top of a full career for my future goals. Basically I took home that you should invest as boring as possible for minimal losses and adequate long term gains. After figuring out the logistics of your personal budget such as how much goes towards bills, food, etc you should invest a certain % each paycheck on diverse ETF across sectors and VERY few individual companies whom you absolutely believe in. I also learned about ROTH IRA, doubling down instead of freaking out when a stock goes down, and not wasting money on materialistic items that go out of trend. I learned more about finance from you guys than I did all throughout my schooling! Thank you all for helping me take take extra steps towards my financial goals each week. 🙏 I’m willing to hear out any other advice if you got them!
