So I have a fairly large collection of around 20,000 Magic: the Gathering cards that I've been struggling to find a storage solution for, and recently I've been looking into building a custom drawer unit to store them. However, I don't have any woodworking tools aside from a basic drill. I don't have anywhere in my apartment for said tools, and also I don't exactly have $1,000 lying around to buy the tools I would need to cut all the lumber myself.I think I could reasonably construct the unit if I could get the materials cut to the proper size (mostly using pocket holes and wood glue). I've heard that the thickness of wood isn't consistent enough to just get them all pre-cut from a CAD design at the lumber yard, and I have my doubts that MDF is strong enough for my use case (each drawer would hold around 20-30 lbs of cards at max).If there's something I'm getting wrong or that I'm missing, please point it out in the comments. If I end up going through with this project, I will definitely post it here! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ZtenSp
