So up until now I had been very proud of myself thinking that I am living quite a simple life, up until that is, quarantine hit and all I did was fall deep into the minimalist side of youtube.

Every other video telling me of the things they had let go of, or stopped buying, or decluttered - and I was just, basically pulled frantically out of the bubble I had been living in.

I realized a lot of the things in our daily lives are either replaceable with something sustainable, or reduced in quantity significantly or (if you have the will power) eliminated entirely and it won't really affect the quality of your life much. But there's a lot of resistance still due to many factors, world view, people's idea of us, laziness, the need for ease in everything etc. If you have any tips on how to fight these, please do drop me a reply - I can work with some motivation here.

I have a long way to go still, I did end up compiling a list of 100 things that I personally aim to simplify (read remove) from my life this year, what's left of it in any case, in the video linked if anyone would find it helpful.
