I work at a financial institution trust me we get the uncertainty and frustration with everything going on in the world right now, but a lot of it is out of our control.
We know that our app and our website are having issues. It is due to traffic increases, every time they go down IT is working their tail off.
We know call center volumes are up. See above. They are trying their best to work through their calls quickly while still doing their best to answer all the questions. Please don't just hit random numbers to talk to a real person. People in other departments probably can't answer your questions. Screaming at those people because they need to transfer you isn't cool
We don't know when you stimulus check is going to hit. Speaking for the place I work at as soon as we got them we were posting them to accounts. Calling everyday and getting mad isn't helpful
A lot of places are offering help- loans, pass a pays, no credit card payments, etc. Don't scream at as that you aren't interested/go on rants about how you still have/say its insulting etc. We don't know everyone's situation. We are just trying to help where we can.
Please understand that there is a lot going on. Places have people working from home, people are being cross-trained to help out in other departments. Some people are doing multiple peoples' jobs. Somethings are going to be delayed. Everyone is trying there best, but there are only so many hours in the day.
Drive through/ATM isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is a temporary measure to help insure everyone's safety. Please don't block the drive through after you are finished.
Sorry this got long winded. It has been a really rough week. I feel like so many people don't understand how hard everyone at financial institutions are working in less than ideal situations.
