I know what wills do it's just I don't understand what exactly goes on. For example, if someone wants to leave 75% to one person and 25% to another, how would that work? What if the person who wrote the will had a majority of his assets in real estate? How do the children get his assets once he/she dies? Will the children be contacted by someone?
I know cash can be split in any way but what about a house? How can a house be split 50/50?
