Hi,

I woke up and checked my Discover app, it said I cannot login in due to network issues, didn’t think much of it.

Later on the day, I check it again and same thing. So I hop on my laptop and go on the website. The website says call us, we cannot access your account due to specific reasons, something like that.

I call in and they requested a SSA 89 form, SSN card, and my license.

Is this normal? Why would they do this now instead of doing it in the beginning when I signed up for the card?
