I have this blanket which I love, it's got some weight to it which helps me fall asleep, but also has basically a pattern with gaps/holes in it that allow heat to escape. I can keep warm when it's cooler by throwing a sheet on top of it, and when it's hotter I stay cool. I find it so comfy.
The issue is that it takes forever to dry if I hand wash it. After a full day it's still soaking wet. I wrung it out, too. A number of people I know are doing laundry in the tub or sink to avoid exposure to the virus (in NYC, it's pretty bad here). A sheet is not enough "weight" for me, was wondering if anyone in a similar boat found a better blanket solution?
A friend of mine has the same blanket, and she's looking for something that would fit in her portable washer that has a spinner that dries stuff. She says it doesn't fit in the spinner. I would like to be able to pass something along to her as well if anyone has suggestions?
