Debating whether I should sell my 2013 Prius. I've had it since 2016, and during that time it's been reliable. No complaints really just kind of bored and want to drive something else. I'm also a little worried with the Prius aging that it could potentially cause me problems later, concerning the battery and hybrid system. I only have 75,000 miles on it right now and wondered if it would make sense to privately sell it for one of the options:

  • Toyota Camry
  • Toyota Corolla
  • Honda Fit
  • Honda Civic

Obviously I would not buy new, and would buy used. Or maybe I should just hold onto the Prius for years to come. The handling on the Prius is clunky (basically a couch on wheels) but the fuel economy is nice. I'm also on the tall side at 6'2" so it has really nice headroom. I do experience Prius haters often, usually on the road. I'm a firm believer the Prius is the number one most hated (and loved in some circles) car on the road today. Would this be a financially responsible decision to sell the Prius in favor of one of the options above? I'm equally weighted on all of those cars as they have gotten an overwhelming positive reception online for reliability and cost of ownership.
