Dear Community, Today I put some oil on my desk chair's moving parts, which fixed the noise I had while moving on it or leaning back. Sadly I was a little overenthusiastic and also put oil on the spring hoping it would help with that noise you get when sitting down, but instead when I sit down now a massive droning/growling noise is created as the chair releases pressure or reapplies it when I get back up. The height adjustment also stopped working and only moves down when I wiggle around and apply additional pressure.
