Years ago I was visiting an elderly, now deceased neighbor, when he showed me a thing I really want one of now. At the time I didn't pay real attention. Landlord had put in an intercom system which is great if you are at that end of the apartment and have excellent hearing. In the back and you'll miss deliveries etc. He showed me a slim box his son procured for him that I believe was sound-activated and ran on battery so when the intercom rang it automatically amplified it. I've searched all over and can't find one. Anybody aware of these?
