Hey folks. I bought myself a big ol' TV, and now I want to mount it in my basement. I tried drilling a pilot to help find a stud. Ran into what felt like a metal stud (definitely wasn't wood, as I was stopped from going further), but with a slight push I went straight through what felt like sheet metal. Something just didn't feel right about it - I wasn't using a titanium or cobalt drill bit and it went through incredibly easy.
