Ripped up the carpet and left a few holes where the tack strip was (https://ift.tt/342RZ2e). I feel like I should fill those before putting the floor down. Is it necessary? And if so, what would I use to fill it? I’m not used to patching concreteFor the baseboard, and to leave an expansion gap around the floor, should I trim a quarter inch off the bottom and have the gap under the baseboard, or stop short of the baseboard and add a quarter round to hide the gap?Lastly, any thoughts on baseboard depth?
