Hi, I'm living in an intentional community and we're looking to build some dead-simple, low-cost housing structures to house woofers or other work-trade folks. The model we're looking to is having a central house where everyone hangs out and cooks, etc. but at the end of the day we settle into our respective dwellings, which can be super minimalist, basically just for sleeping and storage of a modest amount of personal possessions. I've heard of structures that can be build for ~$200 in material and would like to just learn about what's out there in the way of designs. Using recycled materials (pallets, etc.) is a plus. I'm in Corvallis, OR, so it can get cold in the winter, but not super cold (25 deg. F). Guides, galleries of examples, etc. are welcome!!
