EDIT I don't know how to add a picture, but here's a link to one: https://ift.tt/2XrYlqv, all! This is my first post anywhere, so I apologize if I'm breaking any rules.A few weeks ago, tile started falling off of the walls in my bathroom. I'd noticed brown stuff coming up between the grout previously, but I was usually able to clean it. Once this happened, my son (finally) told us that his shower doesn't drain.I tore down all the tile to try to find the issue - it turned out to be an incorrectly installed shower pan (along with a host of other issues), which I know I can fix. My problem is that the shower handles leak and I want to replace them as they're from the '50s. Sounds fairly easy, right? No. The plumbing is completely encased in cinderblocks and I have no idea how to get to to it or if I even need to. Advice desperately needed. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Xr5I1b
