TIL: My best friend passed away shortly after his father passing away. He was in charge of his family’s finances and don’t know where to begin.
My best friend passed away suddenly in an accident. His mom spoke very little English and he was in charge of the finances for his family including his younger sister. I’m going out to help them as much as I can, but I’m kind of at a loss of where to start as my friend was the one who would’ve guided me through this situation if it had happened to my father. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to start? We’re in the early stages and we’re just kind of hitting things as they come up rather than getting ahead of things. Thanks for your help.
