My friend is renting an industrial kitchen/restaurant (which will open soon) and it has this 16’ by 32” stainless steel counter that had a beverage dispenser and a lot of other junk attached.https://www.dropbox.com/s/f2k6b401wvvc6u0/Photo%20Oct%2008%2C%2012%2049%2008%20PM.jpg?dl=0I’m in the process of removing everything from the top witch will leave a flat surface but with large holes.I’m looking for ideas on how to affordably resurface the table to make it a food prep station with a barrier on one side that will separate customers from the work area (its a code thing)I don’t have the welding equipment or the experience to weld new stainless steel sheets to the top so I’m thinking a wood or tiled surface.I found large cheap tiles at Home Depot that would only cost about $60 to cover the entire surface and look decent but the price rises steeply when it comes to the edge tiles.Even if I do tile it, I’m sort of stumped about attaching a glass barrier to one side...Anyways, any and all advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.
