I’m 17 and really want to start being actually frugal. I can’t justify going out to eat on my own because there’s food at home but that’s as frugal as I get.
My mentality is spend spend while I’m young, money comes back experiences don’t, and before I get bills but at the same time I wanted to save save before I get bills. I’ve had a lot of fun just spending and acting like I’m good with money since I don’t eat out but at the same time very stressed! I’m able to pull together $700 quickly for a festival but I still haven’t been able to buy my own cheap car or get a laptop. Saving isn’t my strong suit but I want to change that!
What are ways to help me get into being frugal or in general make less poor decisions?
