I just bought a house with a concrete driveway that measures approximately 12x40. The slab has no control joints cut, and has a single crack, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide, down the length of the driveway, and a single crack about the same width across the driveway left to right. My plan is to pressure wash the driveway, dress and patch the cracks, resurface the driveway, and then cut control joints to help mitigate any future cracking. Are there any problems with my plan? should the control joints be cut before the resurface? Does patching the cracks before the resurface have any value, or will the resurfacer fill in the cracks without having to worry about it?Any extra advice is welcome. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2VDW22n
