What items do you put on your "to buy" list when you're travelling in another country because it's cheaper or of better quality/effectiveness? Or what do you buy online from another country for the same reasons (beyond the obvious "buy it from china" items)? Here's my list (I'm from the US):
In Japan:
- Basic skincare products like sunscreens (less greasy), moisturizers (naturie, HadaLabo), etc. - better ingredients & I love that you can buy pouches to refill bottles you already have!
- Clothing (if you're petite...I got a few skirts for only $2 each!), Uniqlo
In Canada:
- Toothpaste with novamin or hydroxyapatite
- Granola bars, chips, seaweed (cheaper than US and can be stocked up on)
Anywhere:
- Stain removers...I'm always curious if some other country has a stain remover that works miracles
